A Sitcom Story? Or Manifesto?

This was the opening for the 1970 pilot of The Partridge Family. I really don't remember this version, because it changed when the show got picked up. Interestingly, it tells a really concise story and purpose in a minute. In some ways, it's like the Partridge brand manifesto.

I can't imagine any TV show today having a :60 thematic opening.
